Most Despised Characters in TV History

I know, I know, it is a given that TV is admittedly entertaining, but nothing (and nobody) is perfect, and there are just some characters to these wonderful shows that you just can't stand. Yes, there is an equally and adamantly loathed character for every cherished figure on the shows. Characters can be truly off-putting in ways that most likely the writer did not intend (but being a writer myself, I know that sometimes the characters you create write themselves). Admittedly it is sometimes noticed that some characters are so universally despised that no one will so much as blink an eye when it comes to realizung that they are on this dastardly list. But, come on, haven't you ever just stopped watching a show completely because of the irritation that one character in particular brings to you? Well, here is my list of charcters that I can't decide if I hate (or love) enough to through the complete series in the bin--my most despised in TV history. 1. Rory Gilmore--"Gilmore Girls" < Honestly, the character of Rory Gilmore began this classic show as young and very likable who was a good student (one that we all dream ourselves of being...what else is television for?) with a pretty good moral compass. But, sadly, as the show progressed and developed into something more evolved, she changed dramatically from just a simple Star's Hollow girl to having practically everything handed to her on a silver platter by her grandparents (that had well past enough money to survive). I mean, just think about it for a moment, they paid for her to attend a high-ranking, pretigious university--and following her dropping out of Yale and stealing a boat/yacht, she stopped talking to her mother, Lorelai. 2. Will Schuester--"Glee" /b>/b>I know, I know, this character kept my laughing almost all the way through this entire series, but when you (or I) think about it, apart from being a great salesman, Michael Scott is really lacking in almost any other skills, management or otherwise, and that is just sad. He is an awful employer who crosses the line with his staff far too often, puts himself into positions he should have stayed far from (if he had any sense), and is very disrespectful, all in all. And, he is also very egotistical. Seriosly, he often uses a stupid scapegoat tactic to avoid being disciplined for his actions, which I just can't respect, that often places his employees in positions where someway, somehow, they receive the majority of the blame. His bad habits of constantly joking around and treating his professional colleagues as if somehow they are his friends too are very inappropriate for management. What were they (the writers) trying to illustrate? Michael Scott, as die hard hilarious as he was on TV, is not really someone that you (or anyone) would actually want to hang out with in real life. Sorry, it had to be said.
